BOEKEL HAND OPERATED DIVE PUMP

Presented is another standard early hand operated dive pump made by the Wm Boekel Company of Philadelphia. It was patented in 1904 and used for shallow water dive operations, and some early fire fighting applications. And again, for dramatic effect, we’ve had it polished and lacquered for display. It has some minor dents from use, which do not detract from its appeal. It is brass and copper. The gaskets in the brass tube would have to be replaced for actual operation.

DIMENSIONS:  Height Overall: 27″ Height of Bell: 9 3/4″ Diameter: 11″
Weight: 13 1/2 lbs.

CONDITION and MARKINGS:
This pump is in very good condition The gaskets in the brass tube would have to be replaced for actual operation. The pump is marked on the cylinder fitting with the name of the manufacturer, and on the hose fitting in relief as well. The pump is made of copper and brass with a bronze fitting. It is being offered as a display item only, and should not be used for any other purpose unless certified by a competent diving shop.

A great addition to a dive collection or after a rebuild to be put back in service after inspection by a certified dive shop.
