Our nautical items comes from all over. We used to search the wrecking yards of Asia,
but the ships being broken up today are too new to have few things of interest. This means finding the true marine
collectibles is becoming more time consuming and expensive. We have a broker who travels the shipwrecking yards and buys.
The increase in commodity prices has also caused an increase in brass and bronze ship's gear. Freight is a major component
of our costs, as it would be for anyone bringing things in from overseas. There are also hidden costs that have to do with
exchange rates, the difference in the spread of the currency, and Fed fees. We do not sell antique reproductions.
Pictured is only a very small sampling of the items available. Our extensive supply includes Ship's
wheels, telegraphs, steering, instruments, binnacles, spot lights, ship's bells -many with names, brass lighting fixtures
and sundry other items of true nautical treasurers.
Again, it is important to note that our inventory is continuously changing. To get an up-to-date idea
of what we have, please email us and tell us what your specific interest is.
