Presented is a fine example of a shallow water dive pump made by Schrader/Esco. The pressure gauge is marked “Schrader” and the air cylinders ESCO & Co., No 99, 375 Broadway, NY City, USA. This example closely follows the industry standard for a shallow water pump in design and dimensions and has been cleaned up and painted for either use or display. This style pump was used primarily with the Miller-Dunn Style 1 and Style 2 “Divinhood” and Morse 15 dive helmets.
The pump is being sold for display only and should be sent to a dive shop for certification
CONDITION and MARKINGS: This pump is in very good condition. Not pictured, but it comes with a full long handle for operating the pump. There are special hose connectors fitted to the cylinders which are complete. We have rocked the handle back and forth, and you can feel the pull of air pressure on the intake side. The pump is marked on the cylinder heads in relief, Esco & Co No 99, 375 Broadway, NY City, USA. The pump is made of cast iron with bronze cylinders and a bronze fitting. It is being offered as a display item only, and should not be used for any other purpose unless certified by a competent diving shop.
A great addition to a dive collection or after a rebuild to be put back in service after inspection by a certified dive shop.
