Bronze Cannon
Presented is a bronze cannon with a U S N marking. The trunnions suggest that it had a carriage at some point – which is now absent. The cannon is 9 1/2″ in length, the bore is 1/2″. The widest width is 1 1/8″ narrowing to 3/4″, Weight is 2 lbs 1 oz.

We think this was probably forged for someone’s personal use and date it to the Civil War or late 19th Century.
