GREAT STARTER HELMET
LOTS OF CHARACTER

Stand Not Included
Presented is a wonderful old three light,
12 bolt, Korean helmet likely made around 1930. Even though it looks similar to a Siebe Gorman, except for its criss-crossed
guards over the side lights, it is smaller and substantially lighter in weight. Its obvious long service and patina give it
a rustic appearence which will enhance any room or decor. There are no numbers in the helmet anywhere.  However,
the brales are numbered 1,2,3,4.
Because of its rugged good looks, these helmets are great decorating
items.
CONDITION is to be as expected form a helmet
that has seen lots of service with numerous character dents, some scuffing and much soldering. The air vents are
intact. Chin valve operable. Like all our helmets, this is being sold for DISPLAY ONLY. It should not be dived without having
passed inspection by a certified dive ship.

ANOTHER GREAT STARTER HELMET LOTS OF CHARACTER

Stand Not Included

Presented is a wonderful old three light,
12 bolt, Japanese helmet likely made by TOA possibly around 1930. Even though it looks similar to a
Siebe Gorman, it is smaller and substantially lighter in weight. Its obvious long service and patina give it a rustic
appearence which will enhance any room or decor. There is no number in the helmet, but on the underside of the brailes
are 3341, and this number appears in the back inside of the neck ring of breast plate. On the top of one of the brales there
is a faint “Co. LTD”.  It was the practice of Japanese makers to have this very English custom at the end of their name.
Hence, TOA Co. Ltd might have fully been what appears there. There are also three hash marks on the other front (left) brale.
There is only one  similar TOA helmet advertised on the internet for sale. It is priced at $9500.00 AUS which is about
$7600.00 US making this one a “Best Buy”!.
Because of their rugged good looks, these helmets are great decorating
items.
CONDITION is to be as expected form a helmet
that has seen lots of service with numerous character dents, some scuffing and much soldering. The two knobs on the screw
in face plate have been broken off. The air vents are intact. Chin valve operable. Like all our helmets, this is being sold
for DISPLAY ONLY. It should not be dived without having passed inspection by a certified dive shop.
