SIEBE GORMAN ADMIRALTY PATTERN DIVING LAMP Ca
1936
Presented is a scarce British Admiralty Pattern brass
hard deep sea diver’s flashlight. The torch is stamped AP 4456 around the bezel and has two prongs on the bezel to protect
the lens. The two prongs and the AP number indicate this lamp was made circa 1936 well before the pattern number was changed
to a NATO number. The Siebe Gorman imprint on the barrel shows it came from the London manufactory. These lights were
made to the design of the British Royal Navy and are hard to find. It could be restorable, but it is being sold for display
in its current condition. Dimensions: LOA 11” L x 1 1/2” D. Lens Bezel 3 1/2” Weight
Arrow shows Admiralty Pattern number/ Lens has crack
CONDITION: The lens is cracked and the reflector and battery holder is missing.
The bezel is shown with two prongs, but it may have had four at one time. There is only one small dent to make
note of. Siebe Gorman Maker’s Imprint
