We specialize in offering the most unique and rare ship's compasses and binnacles, all in outstanding condition, that are ready for inclusion in the finest collections. They are the best of these increasingly scare relics of our seagoing heritage that can be found.

Expect to find representative examples from the best of English and American compass makers from the early 1800's to the mid 20th Century. They include names such as Henry Brown, Dent, Heath, Hughes, William Thomson, James White, Wilfrid O. White, Bliss, Danforth, Ritchie, Negus, and more.

Currently available are examples of the of the most desirable and scarce magnetic heading and position fixing devices including telltale, reflective, gyro compasses and pelorus. They include in part, a Heath three legged dolphin binnacle, a Royal Navy pyramid binnacle by famous Dent & Co., and a small size Henry Hughes - Lord Kelvin threaded card boxed compass. Each of these are scarce and rarely seen out side a museum.
